— Litigated complex Class X and Class 1 felonies in the Domestic Violence Division.

— Tried 8 jury cases and numerous bench trials for severe charges, including 1st Degree Murder, Attempted 1st Degree Murder, and Aggravated Stalking.

— Direct examination of medical experts, coroners, evidence technicians, forensic experts in DNA and fingerprint analysis, victims, adverse victims, witnesses, hostile witnesses.

— Partnered directly with CPD, physicians, and DNA experts to review and approve felony charges, including severe child sex crimes.

— Personally obtained 7 videotaped confessions for 1st Degree Murder, personally obtained handwritten 100s of confessions from defendants and statements from witnesses.

— Conducted 350+ preliminary hearings and bond hearings, secured grand jury indictments. 

— Managed comprehensive case discovery, including medical records, police reports, forensic evidence and analyses to prepare cases for trial.

CHILD PROTECTION; JUVENILE JUSTICE

— Tried 300+ bench trials involving sensitive matters such as infanticide and shaken baby syndrome.

— Managed depositions, litigated dispositions, and custody and permanency hearings.

— Presented complex medical testimony from experts in pediatrics, emergency medicine, toxicology, radiology, and surgery.

— Tried 100+ bench trials for juvenile felonies including Class X and Class 1 felonies
